Many times, especially as a parent, I’ve had to determine which battles to fight and which ones to just walk away from.
Then came Friday the 13th, 2016.
Well, because our family has been directly affected by predatory sexual abuse, this is a battle I will fight.
Please watch the attached video from ADF. Then, be bold and fight along with me – for our daughters.

Anthony, first – thank you for this video; It’s powerful, and it has changed my mind about this issue.
Second, I think your second paragraph was inflammatory and really wasn’t necessary. Your comments would have stood strong and courageous without it, letting the video speak volumes, as it does. We’re called as Christians to pray for our leaders. Please join me in praying for our President and congress to be enlightened to rewrite this directive.

Thank you, Susan. I’ll accept that constructive criticism and edit that paragraph. Thanks for the comment.

Just had a chance to watch this. It’s so gut wrenching. As a survivor of sexual abuse it hits even harder. I am scared for my daughters and I have good reason to be. This has nothing to do with Transgender peoplewho . As an attorney I know laws become gray areas, and these laws are all gray. It shows you the state of our country, blurred lines, no truth, but each does what is right in his own eyes.

Each “does right in his own eyes.” And we all know – well, at least some of us do – where all that leads.
