What I did was take the text from the paper I wrote years ago, which I also turned into a post and a page on this blog and do a video version of it.
There were a few places that could have been and should have been updated, but I left things mostly as they were for simplicity’s sake.
The Recovering Legalist 
I heard Dr. Rice preach many times. He was great. No minister of the Gospel is perfect. Dr. Rice taught that it was ok for Christians to not give all their tithes to their local church. I like several ministers that preach from Bible versions in other than or in addition to the King James Bible. I don’t hold this against them or Dr. Rice but I prefer the King James Bible and has a personal disdain for the NIV.
