The timing of this post in my inbox was nothing short of a miracle for me. I struggle with feelings of failure and have ever since a debilitating, chronic illness knocked me off of what I believed to be my life pupose.

Today a dear friend announced the launch party for her first book. While I truly am happy that her dream has come to fruition, I was left with a nagging sense of failure regarding what “might have been.”

Two emails down, I saw your post. Thank you for reminding me what my true purpose in this life is.

  5. Amen, this puts it in perspective especially as we serve the LORD we can easily change what God wants from faithfulness to something else (influence, worldly success, etc).
