Good one!!! My husband learned his heart is “sick” and that he must avoid stress along with a radical lifestyle change. No more grand expectations for him!!
“but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.” Proverbs 13:12b. So I’m going to keep hoping for grand things, and when my heart is sick over hope deferred, then I turn my hope to Jesus, who is with me always. π

But it’s hard to get over having one’s first cruise to the Bahamas deferred – twice!
True. I found out yesterday that the agent I thought would be representing me to get my memoir published, won’t be. His team decided they don’t have success with memoirs. I’d really hoped he was the right agent, but that hope has been deferred. I admit, my heart feels a little sick, but I am trusting God. Maybe the hope deferred is tolerable because I’ve been to Hawaii three times in the last four years. π
