Greetings, fellow bloggers!
Here’s the deal, folks. God has used His people to bless me with the funds to go to Zimbabwe in just a week and a half. You don’t know how excited I am!
AND THANKFUL!!
The only problem – if it’s a problem – is that I will not be doing any blogging while I’m gone. So, like when I was on vacation a while back, I need you – YES, YOU – to fill in the gap. I’d hate to have nothing post but re-runs.

I would like to have between 8-10 posts edited and ready to schedule by August 6th. Is that doable? Of course it is! You guys are awesome! Surely you can stir up that gift inside of you and pound out 400-500 words of brilliance, can’t you?
For those of you who have done this before, you know the drill. For those of you who’ve never posted as a guest, just let me know you have the desire and we’ll get it worked out.
So, let me know as soon as you can, folks, and I’d appreciated it.
In the meantime, please keep me in your prayers; I’m expecting God to do great things, both here and in Africa 🙂

You know, I’ve not really thought about a theme, but what I’d like to see are some posts reflecting on coming together as a blogging family – real people caring for real people. I’d also like to see some posts on grace. But other than that, I like giving my readers that somewhat eclectic variety they’ve come to expect.

What’s the blogging theme

I have no specific theme, per se. In general, I am a Christian, a pastor, a husband and father, and just a man trying to live humbly in the light of God’s matchless grace. My posts are what is on my mind and what I either struggle with, or what excites me. I want to encourage others to follow Christ by not only spreading the “good news,” but by modeling it through my words. I don’t always specifically talk about Jesus or my faith, but I hope my readers figure me out pretty quickly. I don’t go to other blogs and attack their opinions; I express mine here for anyone to take or leave. Ultimately, my desire is to be a tool to bring attention and glory to the God who saves sinners such as I. I’m not perfect, just forgiven. And lastly, whatever I write must be biblically and doctrinally sound (after all, I am a preacher).
And funny is good, too.
Can you write within that guideline? 😉

I follow D’Dream’s blog he is amazing!! His passion for the Lord is transparent through his blogs and comments. The people who follow you would be blessed beyond measure to read anything D’ Dream writes ! I have been uplifted, inspired, and the Lord has used him to speak into my life. Praying you are blessed on you trip as you set out to share Jesus Our Lord and Savior!! I hope to see D’Dream here in your absence – God bless you always
